Great second row house, directly across from public beach access. Loved this section of the beach as it was mostly just the other people renting along that strip, so not nearly as busy as closer to Myrtle. Plenty of space for our party of 12. Everything was pretty clean when we arrived, except for the two coffee pots that were there. The floors probably could've used a bit more of a scrub, but it's hard to expect a beach house floors to be spotless, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Would have been nice to have a few more basic necessities such as dish soap, salt and pepper, maybe a few more kitchen items, but overall was just what we needed.

This is our second time staying in this group of houses, the first time at Pierside Paws. We really enjoyed our stay. A very well-kept house, beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the small details like plenty of drying hooks for towels and laundry baskets in the bedrooms. Our kids enjoyed getting to play the retro Nintendo games. The only "complaint" we had was wishing there was a broom and dustpan to sweep up the sand from the beach.

This unit and this location - fabulous. Unit 1209 felt just like home. The decor and comfort were perfect. Not to mention the view from the top floor. Our only visitors were birds flying by - some with large fish being carried away! The unit was well cared for and clean. It is just about a mile to the Garden City Pier which is well worth the walk - excellent food, coffee and views - with seating both covered and out in the sun. Many good restaurants close by, too. Visited Murrells Inlet which is a gem itself. Broadway at the Beach also about 15 minutes away. Felt like vacation and home at the same time. Surfside Pier is still under construction but nearby are parks and some weekly festival type events with vendors, etc. Also, quite a few good restaurants there, too. Would highly recommend this location and unit to anyone. Having 1.5 baths and option of sleep sofa in living room makes this a good choice for 1-4 people. There is a privacy door in hall between Master bedroom and bath area and half bath and living room, kitchen area. Should also mention fabulous view of ocean from the kitchen, dining and living room area with lots of light. Balcony was large and provided sunrise, sunset and breezes.

By the second day of our stay we were feeling right at home! The front porch was where we spent a lot of time in the very comfortable porch swing. The rooms are large and airy with lots of windows and nice shades. All room decore was really homey and tasteful. The kitchen appliances large and small were great! Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. Large washer and dryer very useful. We hated to leave and hope to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at the Salty Dog house. We brought our 2 little terriers with us and spent most of our time on the awesome back covered porch. The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the Garden City pier and 5-15 minute drive to restaurants or attractions. This was our second year in this house and we’re making plans to come back next year again.

Beach house was in excellent condition. Beach house was very well maintained and was very clean upon arrival. Garden City Realty staff was very helpful and courteous. Beach House has a private swimming pool with a sunning shelf as you first walk in making it an excellent choice for families, especially families with small kids, because that area of the pool can be used for a kidde pool with adult supervision. Property was fenced in making the backyard a great hangout for your small to medium size dog, as this listing was pet friendly. The back deck was great for relaxing and eating a morning breakfast, while the front porch was a gathering spot in the evening to share fun conversations including some good laughter as well. Best Beach Vacation ever!!!!!!

Our family has diverse interests when it comes to the beach. My two sons ages 20 and 18 wanted a marsh front home so they could use the john boat and fish. I love the beach and the ocean so it was great for me too! My boys were able to have their own space downstairs with two bedrooms, a bath, and a kitchenette, and my husband and I were upstairs with plenty of room for company. The living area is very spacious and we enjoyed the sunroom when it was chilly. The outdoor decks were just great too. The area under the house is very open and there is plenty of parking. We will definitely vacation here again. Also, check in and checking out was a breeze.

This condo was very nice with a great location. The kitchen was beautiful and very well equipped. I don't usually stay on the first floor but it was high enough and the view was fine.
The only complaint I would have is the 2 chairs by the windows are very uncomfortable -- and that's where you want to sit for the view!!
