The condo was spacious and the view and location was great. The kitchen needs an upgrade. We vacationed with my in-laws and stayed here mainly because my MIL can’t walk well and needed an elevator however there was no wheelchair access from the condo and had to go down the street everyday to access the beach with a wheelchair.
We also thought there was an area to grill in the photos but there wasn’t.
Also although fireworks were illegal on the beach, people were setting them off on several nights and nothing was done. In fact the only beach rule that seemed to be followed was no tubes in the water. Had to walk a block up to Surfside beach to use our tubes.
Also if you have your own chairs be prepared to not have a prime spot as the beach service sets up chairs and umbrellas early in the morning and blocks you will be stuck behind a row of umbrellas. Most of them aren’t even rented.

Hi we have a property we rent on GCB as well so I wanted to provide some feedback! We loved the house and already rented again! I do want to say we had to go buy wine glasses (none there) and trash cans for most bath rooms. Not enough pillows per guests. We also had an ant problem (inside and out) that we handled upon checking in. The downstairs dryer cuts off once it heats up so not able to use. The drain in tub (front right upstairs) would not drain and filled up during shower. Had to use another shower. Small things that need to be addressed as a rental. Loved the layout, parking, dock, location and # of baths!! Gazebo great addition! Overall loved the house

Perfect place for our yearly family beach week! The children are kept busy swimming in the pool or fishing off the dock. Gazebo is a great hangout for adults. Beach is just across the street and never crowded. Pop’s Place is special! Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with others..

Garden city realty was great through the whole vacation rental. Checking in was fast and smooth. Loved the check-in windows and the little extra touches. The condo was clean well stocked when you arrived. Toilet paper, garbage ect was great to start off. The towels and sheets there was plenty. The condo was well equipped had all you need. Nice washer and dryer. If something goes wrong like we had the dishwasher didn't drain someone was out with hours. He was friendly and very professional. The weather was awesome we were there 2 weeks. Beach was clean. Pool always crystal clear. Lots of parking. Loke that you can park under the building. Elevator such a plus and having luggage racks to take up your items and groceries.

We had an amazing time. The condo was in pristine condition and the huge balcony was the highlight of our stay. The HVAC kept the unit very cool and comfortable (this has always been a struggle for us), the beds were very comfortable and the living areas were very relaxing. It was nice to have our own hot tub, although, the early afternoon was too hot to use because of the sun exposure. Once the sun was shaded, that was the place to be! The only drawback of the unit was the bath tub situation. We have a young child and the glass doors on the tubs made it difficult to bathe her. The master bathroom was very very small also, there is a jacuzzi tub in there, but the room it's in is much to small to relax in to actually use.
This was our second time staying in this condo and it truly doesn't disappoint. If it's available for the dates you're looking, do yourself a favor and BOOK IT. You won't regret it.

Had a wonderful time again this year at Whalecome Inn! Great location, great view, comfortable furnishings and great pool. We had some issues with the right size sheets and a broken bedframe but both issues were taken care of. Already booked for next year!

Sit on the balcony and watch the pelicans fishing and the whales and dolphins swim by. Very relaxing vacation. This is the first time we stayed at this property and we will be back. Having both indoor and outdoor hot tubs and pools is nice for cooler days. This property could use some new non-stick pans. The washer didn't work, the maintenance staff was responsive and offered to pay for us to use a laundromat.

The Beach House Condo was great. Short walking distance to the Garden City Pier. Beautiful ocean front view. Very clean and very nice accommodations. Good size pool that was very clean. Condo property was well kept. Garden City Realty staff is very courteous, professional and very helpful. Definitely a great realty to work with to help plan your beach vacation.

Had a great time here at this cottage. Would suggest that realty company look at the dishwasher nearest the road (north). It is missing some rollers which made it difficult to pull out and push in on the bottom. Also, the dishwasher nearest the ocean (south) may also be missing a roller or two on the bottom as well. Thanks for furnishing the linens, Garden City Realty. The pool was always clean. We were all thankful for the elevator what with all of our luggage and supplies for the house. The master bedroom has a duct or something hanging from the ceiling. Also, one of the master bathroom shower heads is missing.
