We have rented and stayed at Marlin Quay for years. We love the location and views from these condominiums. The size and access to beach were great! There were a few things wrong with our unit but I’m sure the owners are aware. We love this location and had a great week! Marlin Quay might want to let their HOA know they have two permanent residents that are not nice to renters and very controlling of the pool areas. FYI for vacationers with teenagers who like to swim at pool and play music around the pool at night !!! Otherwise love this place !

This condo was clean, spacious, and had anything that we may have forgotten. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the deck was just as good as Ocean Front in my opinion. I cant wait to stay again

We had a great time. The unit was perfect, it was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was even a completely empty pantry for us to put food! There was no dining room table, just a folding table, which I didn’t realize. It didn’t bother us. My only issue was the air conditioning in the master bedroom was basically non existent. It would get very hot in there all day and night, even with the fan going. Overall we would stay again. We were happy with everything.

The unit was in a great location and for the most part in good condition. However, we felt there was a musty smoke smell each time you entered the unit. There are some kitchen items that need to be added like plastic cups. drink ware, and cookie sheets for renter convenience. There are homeowners in the complex who do not like renters and would verbally harass people about condo association rules, and even changed the pool signs closing time to get people away from their properties. We’ve stayed many times in this complex and love it, and we have never had issues with homeowners before. It is sad but will make us think twice now about renting here again.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was beautiful ; we are going to try to stay there again next year. The view from the balcony was gorgeous! We had our grand children with us and they loved the room and the beach and pool!

This was our 4th year at the Salty Dog. The upgrades are fantastic! I would suggest a gate on the deck in order to keep small children and pets safe and also move the foot wash spigot to the middle deck level. A hose in the garage would be nice.
We are SO VERY VERY SAD that this property is not available for our vacation in 6/2024!!

The condo was large enough for 6 adults. View was amazing. Just steps from the beach. Beds were very comfortable. It was also very quite. Was a wonderful stay. It would have been nice to have door fob for each couple that was staying in the condo. We ate at the Barbeque House twice, always have to hit River City Cafe and also tried Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet. Grocery shopping was close. It would have been nice to have 2 parking spaces but I see why they limit you to 1 parking lot is small but we could always find a spot. Had to call for some light bulbs and also the tv in the full size bedroom didn't have a cable box and my son had to use his spectrum app. Carpet in the bedroom could be updated and bathrooms could be updated. Overall the stay was great. I would stay here again.
