This was our first trip to Murrells Inlet as our family spent the first week of vacation in Hilton Head and ventured up to the Cozy Coastal Cottage for our second week away. We really loved Murrells Inlet and explored all around the area including Huntington Beach State Park, Pawley's Island, and Myrtle Beach. The Cottage was a perfect retreat after busy days at the beach, mini golf, dinners out, round of golf, and Myrtle Beach area fun. A few pros and cons for us below:
Pros:
-Very quiet, Gated community
-The cottage was well cleaned upon our arrival
-Lovely, oversized, naturally bright kitchen with beautiful windows
-Lovely front farmers porch with porch swing and rocking chairs
-Large, comfortable bedrooms with attached full bathrooms
-Even though it is an attached duplex, the home is quiet and private
-Dog friendly
-Community pool was a great plus!
-Gorgeous grounds and well cared for vegetation
-Proximity to a great golf course on property
-Good air conditioning, responsive maintenance support after the air conditioning had a minor issue, the maintenance team fixed it within a few hours-thank you!
Cons:
-The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced it's very soft and slanted
-Curtains in the bedrooms fit oddly to the windows which made it hard to keep out the light
-Shower drain master bath shower was broken. It needs to be replaced.

We had such a wonderful stay and so enjoyed exploring Murrells Inlet and the surrounding area. We look forward to returning!

Loved the open layout of Strike II and the two separate sitting areas with their own TVs and plenty of seating. Separate 1⁄2 bath on the first floor was nice. Enjoyed the front and back porches, both with steps to the ground—easier to flag down the ice cream truck! The ice maker was a fabulous amenity. I fortunately packed my crock pot and big griddle as they were not part of the kitchen stock. House is supposed to have premier trash service with no need to drag cans to the street but ours was missed on Tuesday. GCR called but despite refuse company’s promise to return on Wednesday, there was no service until the next regular pickup on Friday when we made sure to drag the cans to the street (owners may want to reconsider this expense). A small Amazon order placed for delivery to the house was routed through USPS for delivery but ended up being undeliverable—we assume because there is no physical mailbox for this house. We enjoyed our stay at Strike II, special family memories were made, and we would recommend!

We had a wonderful vacation at Tide Tonic! It was large enough to accommodate our family and we absolutely loved the dock and being able to see the water from both sides of the house. The beach was a close, short walk. Wish the pool was not salt water! Overall, a great time!

My husband and I , children, and grandchildren had a wonderful time on our two week vacation. We have stayed at Inlet Joy many years and are already looking forward to next year. It’s a great place to stay, inlet with docks in your backyard and the ocean directly across the street.

I'm very satisfied to work with Tim. It was a bit outside of his IT area, but we were able to debug the internet problem at the house working over the phone. That saves me 6 hours of driving.

This is our 14th year staying at Compass Rose. It meets all of our criteria for a wonderful vacation spot. It is Ocean Front, has a screened in porch overlooking a beautiful pool, and has very nice furnishings. The owners keep it in good shape year after year.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. Our only complaint was the lack of a returned phone call from the maintenance department. The light fixture in the dining area did no work and no one got back to us.

We had a great week at this rental home.We had 13 in our party and because of the spaciousness of the home we never felt crowded. It's well appointed, well, furnished, the pool was awesome and it's a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable with excellent linens. Everything was as advertised. The communication from Garden City Realty was outstanding throughout. We would definitely stay here again.

Great oceanfront house with plenty of room for extended family vacations. The beds were newer and there were plenty to choose from. The family and kitchen area is very roomy. The pool and hot tub are great amenities to have after a few hours on the beach. There were only a few cosmetic issues with the house but that goes with a rental property. Garden City Realty was very responsive to all of our needs. We will be back!
