We just returned from staying at PortofinoIII 321-A in Surfside Beach, SC. We-being grandparents and daughter with her family: Husband and two teenagers. Great wide beach with no undertow-water still somewhat warm even though it was October. Pool still open for use in the complex. Cottage is in a great location with easy access to the beach. We used a rented beach buggy to carry chairs, boards, etc to the beach. Nice to have the ramp next to the cottage. The cottage is very well maintained with almost every thing needed (had to use a cookie sheet for a pizza pan-lol). Nice to have towels, washcloths, etc., furnished. We were able to have the beds made before arrival by calling Garden City Realty and paying a very small fee for the service. Once the AC went out in the night. When we called Garden City Realty the next morning, they had a technician out in a few hours to fix it. Otherwise HVAC worked very well. Furniture, amenities, etc., at the cottage were modern and up to date. Seemed to be recently painted. Need to mentioned that the first floor bedroom has two twin beds. We had been using a east-west beach in NC for years, but too many red flag days recently. I had remembered the MB beaches being somewhat calm, so we looked for a cottage in the Garden City area. Loved it! Walked to Bubba's fish shack for seafood (4 tenths of a mile north of the cottage). Had Hotdogs from Sam's Corner Diner (2 miles south). Enjoyed the beach each day--never a red flag day. Ate on the deck at the cottage for breakfast to enjoy the view and hear the waves. Under cottage parking a little tight for large vehicles, but not an issue. Additional parking in the complex. Hopefully we can return in the late spring of 2022.

We have had this home rented the same week for 4 years. It’s always been great. It has everything that one would need for a great beach trip. Aside from AC troubles this last week it’s always been great. We were taken care of for the inconvenience and we as renters are happy. See you next year!

Nice home, as it has been in the past. This section of Garden City Beach still had social distancing, unlike parts further North, hear the pier. Same good vacation experience.

Our family has vacationed in this area for decades and this house was the best beach house we have ever had. The location is perfect. The house itself was clean and everything inside and out was in perfect working order. We will definitely plan on returning to this house.

I stood in the doorway to the master bath. I had about 2 inches of room from each shoulder. The doorways were just tiny. There needs to more shelving in the bathroom also. Two shelves could be put over the toilet, and that would provide plenty of space for storage. Taking our luggage to the 3rd floor was easy. Going towards our room was easy, but unloading our carting and walking the luggage down the 5 steps in the hallway and into our room was definitely NO fun. I have NEVER encountered anything like this in the 30 years of renting condos at Myrtle.

Our stay at Surf master 702 this summer was wonderful! The condo was clean and comfortably furnished. The view was spectacular! We would stay there again!

The resort is very nice, and in a good location. We had unit 1610, which was a nice unit. Only down fall was the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Other then that it was great. We plan on coming back next year.

Great week at Pop's Place. Excellent location and layout. Parking is limited especially if you bring a boat trailer. The French drain in front of the house needs to be cleaned. We had a thunderstorm one afternoon and we had about 2 inches of water inside the house at the front door.

Nice week at the beach. Clean condo , beautifully decorated. Comfy beds a few issues but maintenance responded within a few hours and fixed the broken towel rack and tub that wasn’t draining. Another issue found after maintenance had come was stopper for kitchen sink didn’t fit properly so washing dishes was annoying. Perfect view from the large Balcony and owners Beach chairs in closet perfect for the beach with comfy headrest . Enjoyed our week on the 9th floor but next trip will book the penthouse again on 12th floor views are better and we can enjoy the private jacuzzi since the public one was always crowded

We have stayed in this unit several times - Love the view- and the easy access from the room to the beach. No shoes necessary!! All the amenities you need. My only suggestion would be to upgrade to a more comfortable mattress.

We had a really good time. this was the 4th time staying in my three sons and sea gal. The house is perfect for our size family. We really appreciated the upgrades from the last time we stayed. New 2nd floor carpet, new island, new flooring on 1st floor, remodeled showers on 2nd floor were all amazing and very much noticed. Thank you for all that. As a frequent guest and already booking next year, can I make a couple suggestions for future upgrades. Bigger refrigerator since mini frig was lost, better kitchenware selection (simple things like a pizza cutter or sharp knives). Again thank you for letting us stay in your home. Matt
