Nice rental for the most part. Pretty clean and amazing views. We stayed in late September so being on the 1st floor was fine but it would be too noisy to stay that low in the busy summer time. The patio door needs replaced. It will barely slide. A small child or an elderly person would have significant trouble with it. Will definitely stay in this building again but on a higher floor next time.

We found Beach House 117 was ideally located in the south (best) area of Myrtle Beach. We had a great, and safe view of "Sandy" as it moved north. Our drive home was the worst part of our stay. See you in 2013. W&D

3rd time in this unit and really works for our handcapped friend.Appreciate the bathroom layout for her. Tastefully decorated but time for upgrades on the couches.You sit,you sink to the floor.Same with the chair. Love the balcony and the great beach.Had problems with the toilet but maintenance took care quickly.The icemaker hasn't worked for 2 's a peaceful area and all the good keeps us coming back.Hopefully a few things taken care of would make it even nicer.The beds are extremely soft and sinking to the middle everynight made it a little close for both couples.We have friends that are going this fall, love recommending!

This was a great location for the beach, the complex has a nice pool, laundry area. We basically had our own pier to fish and crab from. Only a short drive to restaurants on the strip and only about a 15 min drive to the main strip for shopping and grocery's.

This was our second summer vacation at this property and we enjoyed the facilities with one exception. The beds were way too soft for our comfort. Since we are accustomed to firmer mattresses our sleep was not the best. We will not stay there again unless the mattresses are replaced. Otherwise, no other complaints but lots of compliments.

The unit was clean, but needed some new rugs. The shower doors kept coming off the tracks. TP holder also. The electricity/switches in the bedrooms were wonky. Outlets, lights and fan controlled by a single switch. Awkward. Balcony and balcony doors were great. Nice kitchen. Parking was decent-large lot directly across the street. Atalaya staff constantly policing parking lots and property. The property has key code entry lock that changed mid-week and we couldn’t get in. Elevators worked well, and fast. Nice decks on oceanfront. Beach In front of property is very narrow, especially at high tide. Pools are nice. Very quiet area. Convenient to restaurants and Murrell’s Inlet.
Garden City Realty was great to deal with. Very helpful. Received a text when our room was ready. Good communication from them. Very courteous, and quick to respond to our needs during the week!

The kitchen was filled with all the things you would have ever needed. There were beach chairs and boogie boards to use. Dishwasher, washer and dryer and beautiful bed spreads on all the beds. Everything was clean and tidy and well maintained. Ocean front patio, around the corner from the huge pool and steps away from the beach. I loved all the lounge chairs on the decks available for use, for reading or sitting by the pool. Just a wonderful, convenient set up. Just a few miles from HWY 17 which had EVERYTHING you could need or want!

If there was just a few constructive criticisms or suggestions, one would be to have a high top table and chairs on the private porch, because when sitting in the chairs at the table, the railing is EXACTLY at eyesight!! Blocks the view of beach and ocean! The other is maybe a few better knives for cutting things like watermelon and potatoes. And replacing front glass doors to patio, they seriously would stick and was hard to get open (my mom could not do it, she needed help every time to open them).

On a good note, our stay was awesome. The condo was clean and decorated bright and airy. Making the reservations and payment, picking up the keys and finding it were easy. Everything was Emailed to me that we needed to know, which made things convenient.

We are already talking about our next beach vacation through Garden City Rental!
