We absolutely loved penthouse C in the north tower! The floor-to-ceiling glass walls offered a fantastic view. Decor was bright and modern. The large wrap-around deck was wonderful. Great location. Easy access to multiple attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. One minor complaint---the small number of luggage carts are hoarded by other guests the night before checkout! If you plan to load your vehicle between 9pm and 6am, don't be shocked if you discover the carts are missing and not available for action during this 9 hour period. Again, this is a minor complaint. Overall, the property is in good condition, staff was friendly and check-in/check-out was a breeze.

The house was great. We would definitely go back. Some maintenance needs to be done. The washer and dryer do not work well at all. Took 5 times to dry one load, they need to purchase new washer and dryer. New frig too. Also there needs to be some general maintenance (doors off hinges in laundry room made it pretty annoying to do laundry), bulbs out, nobs loos on doors etc.

I've stayed at Garden City Beach for over 35 years in many different houses. Jim Mel Lou is dated but I actually liked the property overall. It reminded me of the beach when I was a kid. The updates on the decking and the fresh paint on the outside looked great. I would recommend a couple of things: Please invest in some new, more comfortable mattresses for every bedroom. It's not critical but maybe you could put in a disposal as well. I cleaned the windows for you so the ocean view was outstanding. We enjoyed the week. See you next year!

this will sound negative but it's not meant that way. Overall the stay was great. Been doing this for 15 years plus. But every year it changes and not for the better. I used to be able to book 8 nights, now I can't. We used to get daily maid service, then they'd come by daily with towels, then towels downstairs, now wash your own towels, buy your own toilet paper, dish soap etc etc. Pay for linen service? Was I going to bring my blankets on the plane? I love that place. I'll keep coming back as long as I'm blessed enough to do so. But the negative changes every year are just a bit sad.

Mariposa is an excellent beach rental. This is our 2nd year staying here and plan to stay here again next year. You can't beat the location, the house nor the friendly folks at Garden City Realty!

Extended family of 11 people (ages 2-68) had a great time in this owner's property. The home was practically baby-proofed in its arrangement and yard fencing. Really enjoyed it.
