We had a wonderful month of March in Surfside Beach. We walked the beach almost every day, only twice wearing gloves and several times in shorts. Most days were sunny, and the white sand beats the white snow of home. Our condo was compact and very liveable. When our grandson and his parents came to visit, we had plenty of room. The view of the ocean was lovely. The people at Garden Beach Realty were very helpful, although they were unable to get the phone company(Time Warner I think) to get the phone working properly. We had to rely on our US cell phone for incoming calls. That is our only complaint. Everything else was great.

My husband and I enjoyed our second stay at Surfmaster. This time we were in 1106 which is a nicely furnished and very comfortable 1 bedroom condo. The kitchen was well stocked for any cooking we wanted to do and there were lots of games and dvds, etc. to enjoy. We like the quieter pace of Garden City Beach and the condos are well located for any shopping and dining out with many excellent choices nearby. We look forward to renting this unit again.

I would definitely stay again at the Surfmaster. The staff, especially Ramona and Drew were awesome and Jill who I worked with for the booking was especially helpful! Unit 604 was a bit disappointing. The kitchen was not fully equipped, dishwasher did not clean well, garbage disposal did not work,no phone for local calls, shower curtain in the smaller bathroom was very grungy and discovered the mattress pad on the twin pad was stained. A table for both sides of the bed and a coffee table in the living would be good additions. Minor inconveniences so all in all, a pleasant stay.

Condo is very comfortable and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We were happy that the TV's were updated to flat screens before we got here. Only complaints were a large lamp over the sofa did not work, an electric can opener did not work and we would have liked a walk in shower rather than the Jacuzzi/shower unit. Unit was quiet and we loved the balcony! Description of unit was accurate and was updated when new TV's were added. Favorite restaurants were Angelo's and Thorny's.

The floor under the beds in the smaller bedroom was quite dirty, the rest of the condo was reasonably clean. The kitchen had most of the essentials and the washing machine had a few issues but worked properly most of the time. Overall I would say it was above average for a condo rental in this price range.

The house was in a great location, quiet, open, view of the ocean. Loved being off the main highway. Only 2 downfalls were that one fridge smelled like fish and there were no hot showers until the last morning. Maintenance was very timely in coming to the house and washing it out. It helped some but it was rough for the weekend to smell that. The hot shower situation was hard because we were in and out of meetings all day and by the time we got back to the house at night it was not convenient to call. I pray this can be a simple fix because this would be a great location for us to return to next year. The house for the most part was very clean.
