I love this property. We really enjoy the view of the marina. I do wish they would update the TVs in the bedrooms - they are very old. Also, the bedroom TVs do NOT have cable - just the main room. They also need to buy more glasses. We ran the dishwasher a lot because we ran out of glasses and coffee cups. The furniture is very comfortable and the TV is great. We could not locate all the remotes which was a bit of a problem for us. Overall, we had a very good vacation and will rent this condo again. This is our 2nd year renting this unit.

So we started off the day before we were supposed to be at our vacation house with a call from the realty company that our house we had last year and scheduled to be there the next day had water damage from an AC leak and couldn't be repaired in time. We were sent pics of several similar units and we made the best choice we could looking at the pictures. We dreaded not having the house from last year...However we got there and the house was wonderful - definitely tons nicer than the pictures that were online. Very well decorated, lots of little extras (games, books, videos, beach and pool toys) The salt water swimming pool was fantastic also! We definitely had a great week and didn't want to leave!

We were pleased overall with our stay here. We loved being just a few steps to the beach. The condo had plenty of room and was clean. We loved having the under condo parking (right at the elevator. We really liked the laundry package. Overall great vacation. As a note: The folks at the check in were great. Easy as pie.

The unit we stayed in have a beautiful view off the balcony. There was plenty of room for my self and husband. The only this is that it needs updating. If your into palm trees and monkeys you have it made. We would definitely come back to Garden City bit with a different room. Thanks again

My extended family and I had a great time here. We had ages ranging from 4-79, and everyone loved it, though the stairs were hard on some of them. All living areas are on the upper level, as is typical of the area. The older teens loved the ground level rooms with easy access to the outdoors.
We usually stay closer to the pier, but moved south in search of better fishing. We were not disappointed- plenty of crab, a flounder and a few others. We rented kayaks which we were able to use straight from the dock and the beach this far south is less crowded. Beach access is right across the street and very convenient. It was my in-laws' first time visiting, and she loved watching the inlet in the mornings. (Honestly, one of my favorite things, as well.) We had fantastic views of the inlet, and also an ok view of the ocean on the other side.
The kitchen was in great shape and well stocked, there were ceiling fans everywhere and room AC units in some areas, as well as overall AC. On a hot week, we were very comfortable.
The living room furniture was not super comfortable- low chairs and such. The beds were old and creaky, but we slept better than expected. The covered outdoor area (under the house) was fantastic, with plenty of tables in the shade.
I would absolutely stay here again. If you haven't been to Garden City before- I'd recommend a golf cart so you can have easy access to everything up by the pier (where all the excitement happens)and a life jacket for any little one who will be near the dock. It's deep and there is a current.
The only complaint I had was the lack of extra blankets. They provided plenty of towels and sheets. However, the futon came with sheets but no actual blanket. My dad in law needs to sleep in a recliner and we had trouble finding a blanket for him to use.
All in all, a great place with good fishing.

This unit is very nice with all the renovations noted in the description of the property. We were puzzled though, as to why there is no door to the bathroom in the master bedroom. No bathroom privacy from the balcony, or if someone else is in the bedroom. You have to lock the bedroom door if you want to use the toilet or shower. Also to note, there are no clothes hangers so you will need to purchase once there or take your own. Everything else is very nice from the kitchen to balcony furniture.

We have stayed many times in garden city and this condo did not disappoint. It was clean, nicely decorated and the beds, balcony furniture and living room furniture were all comfortable. Kitchen could use an update but it was functional.

We enjoyed a family reunion at the compass rose unit 12. The quiet end south of the Garden City pier is our favorite. This home is two miles from the pier. It is quiet, easy access to the unguarded beach and pool right outside our door were all the pieces needed for a great stay.

This home is beautiful and perfectly set up for families. The pool is great and the home situated on the cul de sac is great for families with little ones. The kitchen is well stocked with all the items you would need. The bar area downstairs is so convenient with the ice maker for many cold drinks.

Very well maintained beach house with great layout. Loved the deck and the view! The beach access is incredibly close. Walk to the pier, shops, and arcade. We would definitely stay here again.

I would recommend tinting the door in living room and maybe hanging a ceiling fan in bedroom. Thank God we found a fan in the closet or we would have roasted.

Our first visit to Myrtle Beach and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. We are planning next years vacation and if we can stay here we definitely will.
