We were extremely pleased with our vacation at Channel of Blessings. With only 5 people in this huge home, we felt like we were on our own sanctuary and enjoyed awesome peace and quiet. Dunes Rental did very well on their end to give us the best experience. The ice machine in the garage was one of the biggest blessings as we fish often and used the ice daily. Water on the dock to clean fish was not working, but everything else was working. We have reserved this already for next year as we believe God truly blessed us in this home.

Great location and great views from living room and balcony! This unit was comfortable and with tropical decor, including mermaids, monkeys and pirates. Having 1.5 baths is a plus in addition to option to close door to make 2 private areas in unit. Sitting between Garden City Pier and the currently under construction Surfside Beach Pier, you have lots of options within walking distance. Restaurants closeby or within short driving distance, too. The ocean is so close! The balcony furniture quite comfortable on this very private balcony. Sunrises seen from living and dining areas as well as balcony. Great lighting in unit with much of it natural lighting. Would definitely stay in this unit again.

I’ll start with the PROS (and there is a lot that is great about this property)
- Good location (about 150 steps to the beach)
- Can walk the pier and downtown (approx .8 miles one way)
- Plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths up top and a separate bedroom with bathroom below
- Great front and back deck
- Pet friendly (harder to find in Garden City)
- Great big fenced yard (perfect if you are bringing a pet)
- Quiet street
- Comfortable couch
- Decent sized kitchen

CONS
- Some outdated furniture
- Not much storage for clothing
- No hangers in closets
- Iron beds are a little squeaky and old
- Kitchen supplies are lacking (old frying pans, lack of some basic cooking utensils, etc)

We found it a little challenging to cook meals at home, which we prefer to eating out.

Overall we would definitely stay here again because the PROS outweigh the CONS by a lot. But we’d probably bring some of our own kitchen ware.

I want to end with saying that Garden City Realty was very accommodating, friendly and prompt with any issues we had. We have nothing but good things to say about the management company. Just a few small upgrades to the actual property would make it 5 star for us.

Garden city has been very easy to work with. We go with my whole family every summer and love how they accept payments from everyone, not just one person. It makes it much more convenient. We will be staying at Beach Time (formerly known as Sea Twin South) from 2022-07-23 to 2022-08-06. I can’t wait to get there!!
