We had the pleasure of working with Drew (Dellinger) to purchase land to build our new home. Since we are from out of town (Canadians), we relied heavily on Drew's knowledge of the area to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. In fact, we trusted him enough that we purchased the land sight unseen! He walked the lot for us and came back with his honest feedback and compared it to other lots in the area to make sure we were getting the best for our budget. Just recently, I arrived in the area to close on the purchase and Drew yet again went above and beyond to come to the lawyers with me and to introduce me to local builders AND he even sat in on our 1st meeting to ensure that we were comfortable with the next steps, since we have not built before and are not from the area. Honestly, we can't say enough good things about Drew. From his approachable personality, his knowledge of the current real estate world, and his desire to just make sure that his clients are happy with his services speaks so well on who he is as a person and an agent. I mean, how many agents do you know that still go out of their way to help make your next steps as easy as possible for you AFTER they already closed the deal? We bought our beach house from Cal 7 years ago. Before that Lee Owner/BIC Lee Hewitt and his staff assisted us in securing long term summer rentals for us until we found the perfect home after many years of searching for the perfect 2nd home. The home we bought came on the market and they immediately notified us. We were the first customer to view it and they assisted us in securing this beautiful, move in condition home. We literally just had to move our clothes and personal items in and it was so convenient. They knew EXACTLY what we were looking for in a home and quickly got us in and a contract secured. Subsequently, on the resale of the home after many years of enjoyment and deciding to relocate, they immediately got us 2 viable offers in the first two days of listing. It is bittersweet to leave our second home in Garden City but the perfect couple was found who will surely enjoy our beach retreat as much as my family did.
