Holidays in Murrells Inlet are the Best on the Beach!

Here are a few holiday happenings that are upcoming in Murrells Inlet. Great for the whole family!

Sunday, December 4, 2011 .. 3:00 pm Annual Christmas Parade – Boats & Floats for the Kids Get in the holiday spirit with the Annual Community Christmas Parade beginning at 3:00 pm! Come and enjoy the fun as the Murrells Inlet Christmas Parade starts at Wilcox Avenue (Booty’s) and marches down Business 17 with marching bands, beauty queens, dogs, cycles, clowns, mini cars and more! Immediately following the parade, meet at Morse Landing Park (next to Hot Fish Club) for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Santa Claus will visit with the children at the park. The Christmas tree will be lit and the Eagle Scouts will light a bonfire to take the nip out of the air. Christmas music will entertain the crowd at the park. Free for all!

We invite friends & neighbors, businesses and clubs to join in the parade. Our number one rule is to make your entry fun for the kids! This one is all about the children. Decorate, decorate, decorate! Hand out candy! Dress up! Play or sing music! A panel of children judges will select the one winning entry….one and only one winner in the eyes of the children! There is no entry fee to join in the parade, but we ask our parade entries to donate one unwrapped toy for the USMC Toys for Tots Drive!

Sunday, December 4, 2011 .. 1:00 – 6:00 pm 3rd Annual Christmas Show at Ebb & Flow Art Gallery The artists at Ebb and Flow Art Gallery invite everyone to check out their latest works and unique hand-crafted Christmas ornaments.
