Mike Stein joined Garden City Realty's Housekeeping Department in May 2026, bringing with him a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and helping others.

Originally from Aiken, South Carolina, Mike has lived in the Myrtle Beach area for the past 16 years. His professional background includes service in law enforcement as a deputy in Lincolnton, Georgia, and later as a patrol officer with the Horry County Police Department. He also spent 17 years in ministry and has worked with at-risk and foster care youth since 1996.

Mike is the proud father of five children, with four adult children living in Kentucky and his youngest daughter living locally. He enjoys following sports and cheering on his favorite teams, including the Georgia Bulldogs (for 46 years!), North Carolina Tar Heels, Atlanta Braves, and Indianapolis Colts. He also proudly admits that he has no love for the Duke Blue Devils or the New York Mets.
