The Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally Returns Oct. 2-8, 2023!

Popular hangouts include south-end biker hotspots such as The Beaver Bar and Suck Bang Blow, along with many restaurants along the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk. A scenic rally run makes two stops and ends in an after-party in North Myrtle Beach. The scenic rally run raises money for a local motorcycle club. 

Other popular cruising daycations involve rides from Murrells Inlet to Charleston and up to Wilmington, N.C.

An Interactive Comedy "Who Dunnit" Dinner Show, where a murder happens during your meal, and you are held in the middle of a murder investigation! Everyone is a suspect...if you figure out who did the crime, you may be rewarded! 

The Room is set up Family Style Seating, which means there are large banquet tables that can hold eight to 12 people. Seating is first-come, first-serve; show up with your entire party, and you'll be seated together. The show is happening all around you, so there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Hear the story of Myrtle Beach’s coming of age in the mid-20th century to the present day, the movies that were made or premiered there, the role music played in its history, and that Myrtle Beach played in music history. Stops include Charlie’s Place Historic Site, which was once a part of the Chitlin' Circuit, and its motel was listed in The Green Book.

You'll meet in front of the Grand 14 Theater at The Market Common, beside the airport, to begin boarding at 9:45 AM.

• There is ample free parking in two parking decks, several lots, and on the street.
• Nearby cafes are open before the tour, and upscale restaurants and stores are ready to welcome patrons upon the tour's return at noon.
• The trolley is enclosed and climate-controlled. However, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket if the weather calls for it to keep you comfortable at our stops.
• There are restrooms near Grand 14 on Deville Street on the next corner beside the bike shop and at Charlie's Place.

2023 St. John's 32nd Annual Greek Festival

St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church 3301 33rd Ave Ext. N., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 | Starts: 11:00 AM | Ends: 9:00 PM

The annual St. John’s Greek Festival, a celebration of Greek culture, cuisine, and family fun, is one of the most beloved Myrtle Beach events of the fall. 

In addition to tons of wonderful Greek food and pastries, the event includes tours of the Saint John Greek Orthodox Church, music and dancing, arts & crafts, and more. On the outdoor menu are Greek favorites such as Souvlaki, Loukanika, Chicken or Lamb Gyros, and Loukoumades. Indoors, guests can enjoy Moussaka, Pastichio, Greek Chicken or Lamb Dinner with potatoes and green beans, Greek salad, Tiropita, Spanakopita, Dolmades, and more. A variety of pastries are also available.

10th Annual Britfest British Car Show at The Market Common

Calling all automobile aficionados! The Grand Strand British Car Club is hosting its 10th annual Myrtle Beach BRITFEST at The Market Common on Saturday, October 7, from 9 AM to 4 PM, rain or shine. 

BRITFEST  is a very popular regional British car show featuring more than 100 new, classic, antique, and rare British cars and motorcycles such as Aston Martin, Austin-Healey, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lotus, MG, Mini-Cooper, Moke, Morgan, Rolls Royce, Sunbeam, Triumph, TVR and Wolseley. 

During the day, there will be an English Tea, a Best Hat Competition, and club regalia sales.

Admission is free, and there will be food trucks from which to purchase light meals and snacks. Those who have registered their cars for the show are eligible to vote for their favorite “Little British Car,” and awards will be presented to winners of the various categories. 

This year we will be observing the 100th Anniversary of MG Sports Cars with a special prize for “Favorite MG”.

• This event will take place over different piers, and children over the age of 3 plus 1 adult will get to fish for free!

• Bring a reusable water bottle for an extra raffle ticket!
• Participating children must RSVP to attend.

What to bring:

• Bring fishing rods & tackle if you have it. Each site will have some rods to rent (free of charge) but won't have enough for everyone. All bait will be provided.
• Check the weather report and dress appropriately, as you will be outside. Other items to consider bringing include a hat, sunglasses, sunblock, bug spray, and a reusable water bottle.
• Weather: Events are held rain or shine unless hazardous weather occurs.

Hear the story of Myrtle Beach’s coming of age in the mid-20th century to the present day, the movies that were made or premiered there, the role music played in its history, and that Myrtle Beach played in music history. Stops include Charlie’s Place Historic Site, which was once a part of the Chitlin' Circuit, and its motel was listed in The Green Book.

You'll meet in front of the Grand 14 Theater at The Market Common, beside the airport, to begin boarding at 9:45 AM.

• There is ample free parking in two parking decks, several lots, and on the street.
• Nearby cafes are open before the tour, and upscale restaurants and stores are ready to welcome patrons upon the tour's return at noon.
• The trolley is enclosed and climate-controlled. However, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket if the weather calls for it to keep you comfortable at our stops.
• There are restrooms near Grand 14 on Deville Street on the next corner beside the bike shop and at Charlie's Place.

4th Annual Halloween Golf Cart Parade

Conway Downtown Alive will be hosting the 4th annual Halloween Golf Cart Parade in conjunction with Coastal Carolina University’s Homecoming Parade at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.

For this Monster” of a parade, select a theme and gather your friends and family with a fully decorated golf cart and Halloween costumes!

The parade steps off at the Conway Public Safety Building on 9th Avenue. It will proceed down 9th Avenue to Laurel Street and follow Laurel Street into Downtown Conway ending at Elm Street.  Awards will be presented, and spectators are welcome to view the parade along the route. Sign-ups are available online from Conway Downtown Alive and must be registered before the parade.

Halloween on The Marsh Walk

Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls of all ages will fill the Marsh at this year’s annual “Halloween on the MarshWalk.” The Marshwalk’s longest-running and most successful event, Halloween on the MarshWalk, brings fun and prizes to the whole family!

Festivities begin at 5 pm with Trick-or-Treating along the MarshWalk for the kids. The annual Children’s Costume Contest is at 6 pm in front of Drunken Jack’s at the Pirate Statue. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Creative, Best Group, Funniest, and Scariest for kids ages three and up. Kids age two and under will compete for the Awes Applause Award. Prizes include trophies, ribbons, and candy bags.

The Adult Costume Contest will begin at 7 pm. Over $4,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the top costumes. Categories include People’s Choice, Best Duo/Group, Best Individual, Big & Bulky, Murrells Inlet Themed, and Honorable Mention. This year’s Final Judging location is TBD. Everyone participating will need to register between 7 pm-8:30 pm- Location TBD. Judges will be strolling the MarshWalk this year, looking for the best costumes! But remember- you MUST register (location TBD) between 7-8:30 pm to be eligible to win prizes.

You'll meet in front of the Grand 14 Theater at The Market Common, beside the airport, to begin boarding at 9:45 AM.

• There is ample free parking in two parking decks, several lots, and on the street.
• Nearby cafes are open before the tour, and upscale restaurants and stores are ready to welcome patrons upon the tour's return at noon.
• The trolley is enclosed and climate-controlled. However, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket if the weather calls for it to keep you comfortable at our stops.

Attend The 42nd Annual Dickens Christmas Show held Thursday, November 9th through Sunday, November 12 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center! This unique event is a Christmas celebration and includes various shopping opportunities, entertainment, and a Victorian Holiday Marketplace. 

Visitors to the Victorian Holiday Marketplace will find 300+ vendors wearing period costumes and selling jewelry, crafts, gourmet foods, holiday decor, and more. Strolling entertainment includes music, tea leaf readings, Punch & Judy shows, and a live Santa.

MYTHICAL FUN - Our noble charity will provide you with a whimsical realm filled with a fairy forest, medieval combat, princesses, artisan’s village area, fire show and so much more. This event is geared toward the whole family. We have free activities like bubble blowing with the fairies, Viking toss and fight circle. Parents put your shillings away because all the shows and live music is included with your paid admission!

Sit on a hay bale and listen to musicians strum their guitars or play their flutes or watch blacksmiths form a bracelet from hard steel and glass blowers melt glass into a beautiful pendant. There are plenty of fun games and surprises that kids of all ages will love.

An Interactive Comedy "Who Dunnit" Dinner Show, where a murder happens during your meal, and you are held in the middle of a murder investigation! Everyone is a suspect...if you figure out who did the crime, you may be rewarded! 

The Room is set up Family Style Seating, which means there are large banquet tables that can hold eight to 12 people. Seating is first-come, first-serve; show up with your entire party, and you'll be seated together. The show is happening all around you, so there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Edwin McCain Free Live Concert at The Hangout

“I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask for More” singer Edwin McCain is bringing 30+ years of musical talent to our Myrtle Beach stage and is sure to be a “can’t miss” musical event!

The Charleston-born artist will perform live for a free concert on Friday, November 17th at 8 p.m.

Famous artists such as Justin Bieber and Charlie Puth have covered McCain’s songs, and his ballads are often sung by contestants on “American Idol” and “The Voice” to win over fans and judges. Now performing upwards of 100 shows annually, McCain has had multiple albums on the Billboard 200 and was deemed the “great American romantic” by the New York Times, a “street corner prophet” by USA Today, and an “aching tenor” by Slate Magazine.

Hear the story of Myrtle Beach’s coming of age in the mid-20th century to the present day, the movies that were made or premiered there, the role music played in its history, and that Myrtle Beach played in music history. Stops include Charlie’s Place Historic Site, which was once a part of the Chitlin' Circuit, and its motel was listed in The Green Book.

You'll meet in front of the Grand 14 Theater at The Market Common, beside the airport, to begin boarding at 9:45 AM.

• There is ample free parking in two parking decks, several lots, and on the street.
• Nearby cafes are open before the tour, and upscale restaurants and stores are ready to welcome patrons upon the tour's return at noon.
• The trolley is enclosed and climate-controlled. However, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket if the weather calls for it to keep you comfortable at our stops.
• There are restrooms near Grand 14 on Deville Street on the next corner beside the bike shop and at Charlie's Place.

PLEASE NOTE: Guests must be at least three years old to be aboard the trolley.

You'll meet in front of the Grand 14 Theater at The Market Common, beside the airport, to begin boarding at 9:45 AM.

• There is ample free parking in two parking decks, several lots, and on the street.
• Nearby cafes are open before the tour, and upscale restaurants and stores are ready to welcome patrons upon the tour's return at noon.
• The trolley is enclosed and climate-controlled. However, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket if the weather calls for it to keep you comfortable at our stops.
• There are restrooms near Grand 14 on Deville Street on the next corner beside the bike shop and at Charlie's Place.

Hear the story of Myrtle Beach’s coming of age in the mid-20th century to the present day, the movies that were made or premiered there, the role music played in its history, and that Myrtle Beach played in music history. Stops include Charlie’s Place Historic Site, which was once a part of the Chitlin' Circuit, and its motel was listed in The Green Book.

You'll meet in front of the Grand 14 Theater at The Market Common, beside the airport, to begin boarding at 9:45 AM.

• There is ample free parking in two parking decks, several lots, and on the street.
• Nearby cafes are open before the tour, and upscale restaurants and stores are ready to welcome patrons upon the tour's return at noon.
• The trolley is enclosed and climate-controlled. However, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket if the weather calls for it to keep you comfortable at our stops.
• There are restrooms near Grand 14 on Deville Street on the next corner beside the bike shop and at Charlie's Place.

The Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey, knew what he was saying when he dubbed Little River Band “the best singing band in the world.” 

Through the ’70s and ’80s, LRB enjoyed huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart-topping hits like: “Reminiscing,”  “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “The Night Owls,”  “Take It Easy On Me,”  “Help Is on Its Way,”  “Happy Anniversary,”   “We Two,”  “Man On Your Mind,”  “The Other Guy,”  and “It’s A Long Way There.” Worldwide album and CD sales are now top 30 million. And in 1982, LRB set a record for having had Top 10 hits for six consecutive years – In fact, they were the very first band to achieve that remarkable plateau!
