A Crabby Experience! At Myrtle Beach State Park
Test your luck from the fishing pier as we try to catch a variety of crabs, fish, and many other critters. This is a catch-and-release program to help conserve our resources for the future. The program is $5 per person and includes a rental crab trap. Bring your own bait or buy some chicken necks from the fishing pier. Appropriate for ages 5 to 105!
Registration deadline: Purchase wristbands inside the fishing pier store on the program's morning. The fishing pier opens at 6:30 am. Once capacity is reached (30 crab traps), you can not purchase a wristband.
Meeting place: After getting your wristband, we will meet near the oversized photo op chair on the fishing pier.
What to bring: Hand sanitizer, something to drink, and sunscreen. Bring your own crab bait or purchase some chicken necks inside the fishing pier.
Price: In addition to park admission, the program is $5 per person, including a crab trap. Purchase a program wristband inside the fishing pier retail store. Wristbands go on sale the day of the program.
