The two-day Tour of Historic Plantations and Homes is the flagship event in the Myrtle Beach area. It includes an oyster roast, afternoon tea, a bazaar, and a bake sale. For two days each spring, gracious homeowners open their homes and properties to tour ticket holders, providing a unique opportunity to tour historic properties that are otherwise private.
Tour sites rotate each year depending on availability, but the tour generally features a variety of historic homes, plantations, and gardens from the 1700s forward.
The 2024 tour is scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2024, and Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine.
