4th of July Fireworks Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

On July 4, head to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk for an unforgettable Fourth of July fireworks show over the Atlantic Ocean. The show starts at 9:00 p.m. (weather permitting), and you’ll have a great view from anywhere along the 1.2-mile boardwalk, stretching from the 14th Avenue Pier to the 2nd Avenue Pier. Grab a spot, enjoy the ocean breeze, and get ready for a spectacular night!

Pawleys Island 4th of July Parade

Kick off your Independence Day with one of Pawleys Island’s most beloved traditions: a charming small-town parade full of personality. Starting at 10:00 AM on the South Causeway, the celebration features festively decorated golf carts, boats, bikes, and even tractors. Locals bring plenty of patriotic flair, competing for prizes for the most creative designs. It’s quirky, lively, and packed with hometown character.

17th Annual Independence Day 5K Run/Walk

Join us to celebrate America! Runners and Walkers are all welcome. Participants are encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue! Get the entire family involved and register for the 5K, 1 Mile, or our free Stars and Stripes Kids' Dash (50 yards). Participants are encouraged to dress in costume and celebrate our Independence.

43rd Annual Murrells Inlet Boat Parade

The 2026 Murrells Inlet Fourth of July Boat Parade, with a theme of "Floating on Freedom: Celebrating 250 Years," takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, starting around 5:30 p.m. at Garden City Point. Decorated boats travel through the inlet, followed by evening fireworks at 10 p.m. from the Marsh Walk.
