Enjoy the Aquarium before it opens to the public, eat a delicious hot breakfast, and meet a real, live mermaid! Snap a shell-fie with a mermaid and bring home your complimentary photo plus a special mermaid craft! Fuel up with eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee.

EVENT TIME: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

BREAKFAST BUFFET: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

The Little River Band At Alabama Theatre

The Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey, knew what he was saying when he dubbed Little River Band “the best singing band in the world.”

Through the ’70s and ’80s, LRB enjoyed huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart-topping hits like: “Reminiscing,”  “Cool Change,” “Lonesome Loser,” “The Night Owls,”  “Take It Easy On Me.” Little River Band will return to the Alabama Theatre after their sold-out concert in March 2022. 

In 1982 LRB set a record for having had Top 10 hits for six consecutive years. In fact, they were the very first band to achieve that remarkable plateau!

Myrtle Beach Marathon

The family-friendly Myrtle Beach Marathon is an annual tradition that attracts thousands of people from all over the country!

The course is described as fast, flat, and beautiful. Many runners use it as their qualifying race for the Boston Marathon. 

Here’s what to expect for the 2023 event:

• Wave times are TBA. All participants will receive their race bib in the mail before race day.
• T-shirt, finisher medal, and finisher gift will be picked up at the finish line.
• Other marathon events include a 1-mile family fun run, 5K, half marathon, and virtual 10k.
• *Note: Information and plans may change as the event date approaches. Check with race organizers for questions about the event.

Surfside Beach Annual BBQ Festival

Join the town of Surfside Beach on March 4, 2023, for their BBQ festival! 

Previous competitors include Beach Butts, Beach Catering, Carter’s Carolina BBQ, Coastal BBQ, Smoking Down South, Smokin’ Esso B’s, Gardner Boys BBQ, Evans BBQ, The BBQ House and Pop Pop’s Pit BBQ.

The annual BBQ Festival will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and run until 4 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature delicious BBQ, live entertainment, and much more. Admission is free.
