Alabama Theatre's Merriest Christmas Show on the Grand Strand instills the true meaning of Christmas in your family with its combination of traditional classics and contemporary holiday favorites. This festive Holiday Show is a southern family tradition that invites people from all over this great country to celebrate the holidays together. Also featured in this year’s show will be our new Comedic Juggler, Slim Chance, who will put a new twist on the Christmas season!

The Great Christmas Light Show

NEW Lights! NEW displays! NEW experience! 

The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that will capture the season's true spirit! The drive-through light show will feature over 2 million lights festively displayed along a 2-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. Over 500 magical light displays, some up to 55 feet tall, have been custom-made for The Great Christmas Light Show. Visitors will experience NEW enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes where the lights will come to life. After journeying through the light show, we invite everyone to park their car and visit Santa’s Village, where they can enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores, get an up-close look at the lights on the Santa Express Train Ride, and meet Santa! The Great Christmas Light Show, Drive-Thru Experience, will be open from Monday, November 25, through December 30. Handicap parking and shuttles are available. Closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, and Christmas Day, December 25.

• There are no online ticket sales or advanced ticket sales. Purchase tickets at the entrance gate before entry.
• Golf Carts, attached pull-behind trailers, boats, and flatbeds are NOT allowed in the drive-through light show. 

Santa's Village

Santa’s Village is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ONLY from November 29 through December 15. It is Open Nightly from December 19 through 30 (Closed on Christmas Day). Park your car and walk through our lighted boardwalk to Santa’s Village, where you’ll find…

• Santa’s Rockin Christmas Tree – Show every 30 minutes. FREE!

• Fire Pits – Roast marshmallows and make smores! $6.00 per kit.   
• Village treats – Hot chocolate and smores. Prices vary.
• Village toys – Light up toys and Blinx bears and buddies. Prices vary.
• Interactive Light Game – 45 second game for two. $3
• Sleigh Ride Slide - $3 / two rides per person
• Santa Express Train Ride - $3 per person, ticket required. (All ages. Children 3 and under free sitting on adults lap.)
