Get ready for a spooktacular night at the Aquarium! From 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., guests of all ages can enjoy a glow-in-the-dark Halloween Dance Party filled with festive fun. The evening will feature a live DJ, face painting, themed food and drinks, interactive games, prizes, and plenty of candy. Kids can even turn the tables on their parents in a playful “scare room.” Costumes are highly encouraged, making this an unforgettable night of music, treats, and glowing Halloween magic.

The City of NMB Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with Coastal Carolina University’s Leadership class, will convert the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex Soccer Fields into an extravaganza of Halloween fun. This event is open to children of all ages accompanied by a parent/guardian. Activities include magic shows, marshmallow roasting, games, inflatables, trick-or-treating, and more!

Admission - Open to all ages. Cash only. Price does not include concessions.

• Ages 3 and up: $5 each (includes adults)
• Ages 2 and under are free

BooFest! Kids and Pets Halloween Costume Contests

Bring the whole family to Barefoot Landing for BooFest!

This family-friendly event includes costume contests for the kids and pets. BooFest! will also feature stilt walkers, Corey Holden, and more! The contests will run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. And don’t forget the free movie feature, Hocus Pocus, showing that night on the Pepsi Stage at 7 p.m. So put on your best Halloween costumes and join us for Barefoot Landing’s BooFest!

Please be registered and ready to get in line 30 minutes before your age group’s contest. Registration for the contests begins at 11 a.m.

Contest Schedule: 

• 12 p.m.:  Ages 3 and under
•   1 p.m.:  Ages 4 to 7-year-olds
•   2 p.m.:  Ages 8 to 12-year-olds
•   3 p.m.:  Pets

AND, Trick or Treating will be available on Friday, Oct. 31st, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Halloween Helicopter Candy Drop at Thompson Farm

Get ready for the spookiest, sweetest event of the season — the Halloween Helicopter Candy Drop! 

Held October 25th and 26th at Thompson Farm, watch as the helicopter showers the farm with tons of treats and plenty of Halloween excitement for kids of all ages. The farm is open for all of our Fall Festival fun from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the candy drop is at 4 p.m.
