Don't miss Summer Light: Art by Night!

On Wednesdays and Saturdays from June 4th - August 30th, Brookgreen Gardens presents the opportunity to explore and experience the historic landscapes on summer evenings. Multiple installations throughout the sculpture garden feature a variety of techniques that light up the Gardens.

This year, experience Gardens of Glass: The Art of Craig Mitchell Smith - a breathtaking exhibition showcasing thirty larger-than-life glass sculptures throughout the Gardens. As evening falls, these stunning works will be beautifully illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. A special pop-up gallery featuring smaller pieces by the artist will also be on display in the Noble Gallery. Various bands will perform live music each night throughout the summer and a variety of food and beverage options will be available.

The Gardens will close for general admission at 5 p.m. Gates will reopen at 6:00 p.m. for Summer Light. A separate ticket is needed for the day and evening, and a discount is available if you purchase both simultaneously.

Sea Screamer Dolphin Cruise

Myrtle Beach's Most Popular Boating Attraction - An Exciting Adventure For The Entire Family 

Take a cruise where the whole family will spot dolphins and experience other great adventures. Jump aboard our beautiful SEA SCREAMER tour boat, settle in, and enjoy the ride. 

The tour encompasses three distinct experiences, starting with a narrated cruise up the Intracoastal Waterway. We then pick up speed and pass several uninhabited islands as well as the jetty. In the second part of the tour, we head into the ocean to find and view dolphins! Afterward, in our final experience, we pick up speed to view Myrtle Beach's beautiful coastline. 

Reservations are highly recommended, particularly during the peak season. Dolphin sightings are guaranteed, or ride again for free.* (*Restrictions apply. Refer to your receipt for details. Not valid with group discounts, private charters, or special event cruises) 

DETAILS

• Our cruises run between 1 1/2 and two hours.
• This is a wet ride, so dress accordingly.
• There is a dry box on board for valuables.
• We suggest a bag or case to keep cameras and phones dry so you can take pictures.
• Sunglasses and sunscreen are also recommended for this tour.
• If you want SEATING UNDER THE CANOPY, please arrive early because boarding is done by group #. 
• Group #1 will board first and include several parties arriving the earliest. 
• All passengers must check in and get a boarding pass before boarding.
• The boat departs promptly at scheduled times, so please allow time to park, check in, etc.
• These cruises are not handicap approved by the coastguard. 
• Tickets are non-refundable.

Blackbeard's Pirate Cruise

AHOY MATEY’S and welcome aboard the Carolina’s largest pirate ship, Blackbeard’s Treasure Hunter

The one-hour adventure begins on the dock, where your little mates will be transformed into buccaneers by a super-friendly crew who will give them a pirate mustache and a pirate tattoo and dress them like pirates. 

Once underway, you will be on the lookout for Blackbeard's treasure. Aaaarrgghh! But you'll also have unwanted company, as the dirty, rotten scoundrel Bad Billy Bones is also hot on the trail of the lost treasure and has stolen the key to the treasure chest. During the encounter, your pirate ship will fire its 16 high-powered water cannons and be fired upon, shiver me timbers! So prepare to get wet and have fun. 

Once the enemy is defeated and the treasure captured, you'll celebrate like the pirates you be. Yo ho ho, you will raise the Jolly Roger victory flag, sing and dance, play some games, open the treasure chest, and all our buccaneers will share some of the booty.

Please arrive 30 minutes before departure to ensure the crew has time to transform the kids and the staff has time to gather all your swabs for a family photo.  ARRRRRR! Pirates are not afraid of the rain. We sail rain or shine.
