The Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach proudly celebrates the overwhelming success of its latest production, ICONIC. This sensational show has taken the Grand Strand by storm, earning widespread acclaim and 5-star reviews from tourists and locals.

ICONIC is a groundbreaking brand-new production show that takes center stage, both on the ground and in the air. This innovative, family-friendly show boasts mesmerizing visual elements, featuring a state-of-the-art video wall that stands as a unique spectacle along the Grand Strand. ICONIC offers a diverse musical journey, including unforgettable melodies, comedy, chart-topping Country hits, timeless Classic Rock anthems, Broadway classics, and powerful Pop ballads. Notably, ICONIC also pays tribute to the coastal vibe, celebrating the beauty of being at the beach.

In addition to an impressive array of new costumes, the production showcases a newly designed set that fosters a deeper connection between the audience and our talented musicians and entertainers.

70th Annual Sun Fun Festival

This annual celebration heralds the unofficial arrival of the summer season by welcoming back visitors and locals with a great weekend full of family-friendly events. From exciting live music to awe-inspiring displays by the U.S. Army's Golden Knights, there's a ton to enjoy! Our event, consistently named one of the Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events, would continue to thrive for 60 years, with parades, live music, sandcastle contests, and more.

Schedule of Events: 

  • Sun Fun Festival Omar Shriners Parade: Saturday, May 17 at 10 a.m. 
  • U.S. Army Golden Knights: Friday, May 16 at 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 17 at 4 p.m. 
  • Sun Fun Family Festival - Friday, May 16 from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, May 17 from 12 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, May 18 from 2 to 6 p.m.
  • On The Border Eagles Tribute - Sunday, May 18 from 3 to 6 p.m.
