Afterdeck 203 is a two-bedroom, two-bath ocean-view condo located 0.5 miles north of Garden City Pier. This condo includes living/dining room combination, electric kitchen with dishwasher, self-cleaning oven, frost-free refrigerator with ice maker, washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and private ocean view balcony. Two flat-screen TVs (cable), DVD player, stereo, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include two queen-sized beds and one queen sofa bed. A port-a-crib is available for infants or small children. Common area includes a swimming pool with deck and covered gazebo. Complex has elevator. No pool furniture. No trailers. Side-view unit. No smoking. No pets. No Golf Carts Allowed. Limit one parking pass per unit. Check-out maid service included. Linens not included. Complete linen and bath package is available for $75, sheets and pillowcases only available for $36. Maximum occupancy: 6

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

The condo is great! It is clean and everything in the pictures are accurate. The deck is very large. The kitchen is well equipped. The parking is tight! We have a full size truck and it was tight. There is only one parking space per condo but there is a 2 guest parking spots but I would not count on that. Garden City offers an offsite parking lot close by but it is not monitored (as far as I know) and no cameras. It was great stay!

Had a great time in Garden City Beach. This is our 8th or 9th visit since 2000, and Garden City Beach/Myrtle Beach are my favorite vacation spots. Our property, Afterdeck, has a great location that is right in the middle of everything in Garden City Beach. We love the laid back atmosphere, businesses, great restaurants and the people in Garden City and Murrell's Inlet. Incredibly hospitable and helpful. We also love Garden City Realty staff too. They are always helpful, and eager to ensure everyone has a great time! I do have a few suggestions for the owner of Afterdeck 203. The kitchen was not very well stocked with usable utensils and appliances. There was no blender. There was nothing you would consider a basic skillet. The coffee maker was old, was not programmable, and did not have an automatic shut off. (A decent coffee maker can be purchased for $18-$24 at Wal-mart). Utensils were a hodgepodge of various types, and basic kitchen tools and sharp knives were nowhere to be found. The cabinets themselves were also dirty. One of them had lots of dead ants in it, and it looked as though someone had opened the cabinet and sprayed them with bug spray. Note: Dishware should not come in contact with pesticides. Other than the kitchen issues, the unit was a 7-1/2 on a scale of 1 to 10. Nothing fancy. Just a nice, middle of the road unit. Exactly what we expected for the great price. Being in law enforcement/security, I only had one other concern. Small boards placed in sliding glass door frame tracks are not really sound security devices. I recommend installing removable door frame pins to really secure the doors from sliding or being lifted off the tracks. We will be back. Thanks!

This was 3rd year we have rented Afterdeck 203 and as previous years everything was very good. This unit has been clean and have had no problems during our stay. We love the Garden City area because it is close to so many attractions and great restaurants. The beach front is also great. Everything is very accessible and easy to get to. Also love the Garden City pier which is walking distance from unit and fun to watch and listen to good entertainment in the evenings. Will give Garden City Reality an A++ for being very nice and on keeping us informed about our reservation. Look forward to 2018 to be back for another getaway.
