Cloud 9 is a three-bedroom, two-bath oceanfront beach house located 0.5 miles south of Garden City Pier. This property features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Other amenities include four TVs, DVD player, and Wi-Fi. Sleeping accommodations include four double-sized beds. The master has a private bath; the other two bedrooms share a bath. Outdoor amenities feature two porches; one ocean side, and ample parking (some covered). No smoking. No pets. Check-out maid service included. Linens not included. Complete linen and bath package is available for $120, sheets and pillowcases only available for $60. Maximum occupancy: 8

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

Whatever your desire, whatever your need, the south strand offers a little something on everyone's to-do list. We have a variety of restaurants, retail stores, miniature golf, entertainment venues, charter fishing, water sports... and of course, nothing but relaxation.

Location, location! We could not ask for a better location for our family vacation. Home was right on the beach & had great views from the oceanfront porch. The only think that would have made this home even better was a enclosed outside shower, there is an outside shower but the knob was broke and you would have cut your hand if you used it. Also the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal but the stuff needed to be cleaned. We had to go buy a coffee maker because the one in the home was very disgusting. I know this is an older home but could really use a good cleaning. Even with the dislikes I would stay here again.

our vacation was wonderful. This home is situated right on the beach and it was great not having to carry things out and set up everyday because we could walk right onto the beach. the home was clean and the process for check-in was made super easy by garden City realty. there are too many positives to list. beachfront, incredible views. great location, clean, as described, good furnishings, mattresses sleep well, etc.
the only negatives are that you do not have an enclosed outdoor shower which we are used to having and also that it is a mild foot-traffic in a half dozen houses on second row used this house to cut through to the beach instead of walking four houses down to the public access. We embraced it and as each family was cutting through the 1st few days we told them it was no problem and to have an awesome vacation :-) why fight it right? if you are neighborly there are no negative drawbacks to this rental. I would recommend this rental to any and everyone and I will give it a 9.5 out of 10 stars. I just felt it was important to mention the outdoor shower and foot traffic for the sake of anyone that wanted a really quiet private rental. as far as garden City beachfront goes, for any family, the location and low rental cost, I don't think you could do any better than this. rent it today! :-)
