One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.

Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

Guest ReviewsAvg. Rating:
Very much enjoyed our stay again at Marlin Quay, Condo clean and well kept with nice furnishings, kitchen could use update on pots and pans for those who might want to cook, I would recommend cleaning or replacement of carpeting as number of spots and stains. Overall interior was adequate and comfortable. Appreciated having towels, sheets supplied. Outside building, fence could use some maintenance, would recommend the property and we do like the location.

Property location was good. The views were very beautiful! We really loved the balcony. The unit felt safe & grounds well maintained. Everything was clean. I think the lamps need to be replaced in living room they didn't work well. The mattress in master bedroom much to soft. difficult to get out of. The property Mgmt Co. Was professional. I would most likely recommend it to others We enjoyed Brookgreen Gardens & Pawleys Isl Shops. Food Sara J's terrific. The Marshview restaurant at Murrels Inlet was a good lunch spot.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great with good proximity to the ocean and two nice pools to enjoy. We enjoyed being close to Gulfstream Cafe where the food is always delicious. The property was clean and attractively decorated. We don't cook much while on vacation but our one cooking experience was hindered by the lack of appropriate Cookware needed to make a simple spaghetti dinner.
Thank you for taking the time to fill our our guest review! The owners have recently replaced and added new pots, pans, skillets, and tupperware in order to better accommodate guests. We hope to see you again soon!
