6th Annual Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival

Keeping jazz music alive and enriching the Grand Strand and the state of South Carolina

We are thrilled to bring the annual Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival to the Grand Strand with a line-up of smooth, soulful, and edgy regional and local jazz artists. This event regularly draws music-loving audiences from all of South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and beyond. Admission is FREE!

Myrtle Beach’s Carver Street is rich with music history

Influential R&B and jazz icons such as Little Richard, Otis Redding, Billie Holiday, and Ray Charles performed on Carver Street. The man responsible for bringing these artists to Carver Street was legendary black club owner Charlie Fitzgerald. A group of community members, historians, and community members have partnered with the City of Myrtle Beach to preserve and revitalize the history of the nightclub and the rich history Charlie brought to it.
