Jolly Mon II is a six-bedroom, five-bath 4,000-square-foot ocean-view home located in Long Bay Estates, between Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach. This property features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with granite counters and stainless steel appliances including microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, fireplace, central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans, carpeted, ceramic tile and hardwood floors. Seven color TVs (cable), seven DVD players, stereo, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king, five queen, and two double-sized beds, one twin-over-twin bunk bed set, plus a sofa bed. A playpen and high chair are also available for infants or toddlers. The outdoor living space features a private 14-foot-by-29-foot swimming pool and conversation pool. The swimming pool can be heated October through April. Large pool side deck and screened porch, picnic table, and charcoal grill. Dog-friendly. Limit two dogs - 70-pound maximum weight limit if bringing one dog, 50-pound maximum weight limit per dog if bringing two. Please see the office for pet policy details. No smoking. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

Whatever your desire, whatever your need, the south strand offers a little something on everyone's to-do list. We have a variety of restaurants, retail stores, miniature golf, entertainment venues, charter fishing, water sports... and of course, nothing but relaxation.

Check in and out process was simple and convenient. The property was as expected. We had plenty of room for our entire family. Plenty of items for serving purposes and an adequate amount of cookware. As to be expected with any vacation rental items are a bit worn out but are of use. We were set to have the pool serviced three time during our stay however they onLy came once. The location is super convenient and you get the amazing ocean views from the top balcony. We Like the fact trash service runs multiple times during the week.

We have stayed in Jolly Mon for almost 10 years. Long Bay Estates is beautiful. The only complaint I have this year is that the hot tub is cold and dyed you blue and the increase required to hold properties for the following year is outrageous.

Jolly Mon II was actually a replacement property found for us by Garden City Realty after we encountered issues upon arrival at our original rental. Thanks all around to the GCR staff for their superb customer support--you literally saved our family vacation.

Jolly Mon II was perfect for our fairly large group. It was very clean, well appointed, and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Features we liked best: easy beach access across the street, the quiet residential neighborhood,and especially the tree-shaded pool in back.

Overall, excellent experience and we would definitely rent again.
