VIP House is a five-bedroom, four-bath second row house located 0.1 miles north of Garden City Pier. This 3,000-square-foot open floor plan home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Six flat screen TVs (cable), DVD player, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include two king, two queen, and two twin-sized beds, plus two queen-sized sofa beds. Two bedrooms are located downstairs; bedroom one has one king-sized bed, bedroom two features one queen and one twin-sized bed, and the living room includes one queen-sized sofa bed. Three bedrooms are located upstairs; bedroom three has one king-sized bed, bedroom four features one queen and one twin-sized bed, and bedroom five (open loft) includes one queen-sized sofa bed. Two bathrooms are located downstairs and two are upstairs. Outdoor features include a 14-by-24-foot private swimming pool (3-to-5-foot deep) with kiddie pool, ocean side sundeck, partially covered and furnished front porch, enclosed shower, and ample parking (some covered). Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.
If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

What I like about this property is that it is a block away from the Garden City Pier, arcades, and the downtown area. Walk out your door and you are almost on the beach; it’s that close. The house has an updated interior and is super cute. This property also has easy access to great restaurants and shopping.

House was great. No issues. Pool was great for anyone of any age, but the kiddie pool was particularly nice for small children. Plenty of room for parking. My family and I would definatly stay here again.

VIP House is located across the street from the beach between two beach access points and easy walking distance from all the shops and restaurants in Garden City Beach. The house is large, well planned and you get a view of the ocean from the front of the house. We had issues with the dryer and maintenance took care of it within 48 hours. However, when we arrived we had to vacuum all the bedroom floors to get up the sand that was not cleaned up prior to arrival and there were cigarette butts on the ground at the outdoor picnic table. The pool is nice, but there is a large scummy puddle next to it caused by the condensation drains from the A/C units and the outdoor shower area that has no drain. The front master bedrooms are hard to cool due to all the windows and you are warned that the A/C units will freeze up and stop working if set below 72 degrees so those rooms remain warm.

Overall the house was beautiful. The shower/tubs in the master bath could stand updating. The bath tub was narrow and there was no place to put shampoo, conditioner or razor and barely enough room for a bar of soap. BUT, not a deal killer. The double sinks were nice and convenient. Loved the close proximity to the pier and beach shops plus getting to Hwy 17 was close. The pool addition was really nice. I was there with 2 of my college age daughters, my sister and her husband and my mother and we were all comfortable. We will definitely stay again next summer.
