Pop’s Place is a seven-bedroom, five-bath channel front home located 3.3 miles south of Garden City Pier in Inlet Harbour. This home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with a range-top oven, dishwasher, microwave, two refrigerators (one downstairs), one ice maker, and a chest freezer. Other indoor amenities include two large living areas, central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans, and laundry room with a washer and dryer. Nine flat screen TVs, two DVD players, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include four bedrooms upstairs equipped with three king and one queen-sized bed, as well as three bathrooms. Three bedrooms located downstairs include two king-sized beds, one double-over-double bunk bed set, and one twin with a trundle. A queen-sized sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping for two. Pop’s Place also features two front porches (one covered, one screened-in), an inlet-front Carolina room and porch, as well as a Foosball table. Outdoor amenities include an inlet-front gazebo, private heated pool (heated from Labor Day to Memorial Day when air temps are above 55°), outdoor showers with hot and cold running water, sink and toilet, private floating and stationary boat docks, and a spacious yard for play. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.
If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

The house was big enough for us all to have a space to get away, while allowing our large family to stay together when we wanted. Nicely stocked kitchen, and large gas grill available (with tanks). Lighted pool area (light in pool) and plenty of linens available. Great ice capacity, no more running back and forth to buy bags of ice. Nice to have separate showers and a toilet available outside by the pool for cleaning off without having to drip inside. Wifi was a little slow, so don't plan on streaming or working too much. No Smart TV's, so you'll need to bring a streaming device if you want that available. Everything seemed to work well apart from the refrigerator (you HAVE to push it closed or it will alarm and not cool) and the ceiling fan in BR downstairs (only blows up). Needs some updated bathroom hardware, but overall very nice accommodations.

This house is even better than we expected. Awesome gated neighborhood with private access to the beach. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, tons of space and a lot of places to hang out. We highly recommend renting this house.

This home is beautiful and perfectly set up for families. The pool is great and the home situated on the cul de sac is great for families with little ones. The kitchen is well stocked with all the items you would need. The bar area downstairs is so convenient with the ice maker for many cold drinks.
