Overall our stay was great!! Only complaint is the furniture in living room is out dated, very out dated. But proximity to the beach is fantastic!!!

Great, quiet location. Wish it had had a heated pool as Spring Break was a bit early this year and the pool was unusable. At this price it should have had both heated pool and hot tub. Great deck areas, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms. Oven is terrible for those evenings you eat in, but otherwise appliances solid. Dated but comfortable furniture. Carpet upstairs definitely needs to be replaced. Overall a very pleasant and much needed vacation.
Can't beat the location just 1/2 block from the beach.
The pool though small is perfect for relaxing between the beach and supper. Small enough that little kids can't get in any trouble but big enough for adults to relax. Pool maintenance was done timely and a couple of times during our stay.
Plenty of parking.
The main floor living, dining and kitchen were large enough for everyone to gather around for cards and games. With more than enough room for meals if you are eating in.
Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the washer and dryer are enough to handle keeping towels clean
It's far enough yet just close enough to main street with its shops.
Note again that we have rented this house for a number of years so maybe we are just a little too critical.
The place is getting kind of tired. It really needs some updating. Replacing mattresses, the silverware, dishes and glasses need to be restocked. And please repair the refrigerator ice dispenser. Maybe do something about the BBQ. It all the way in the back and you have to walk though sand and weeds to get to it. Plus it's really too small to be practical.
The house really should be been cleaned better especially in this time of Covid. I think they only had one person this year cleaning. We did talk to the people renting the other unit and they said there's was filthy and they spent a good part of the day cleaning. Different relator and owner. Ours wasn't as bad but we did go through and wipe and Lysol every down before we settled in.
We actually do love the house, the location (walking distance to the beach) and the whole area and would 100% recommend it except for the week we want it next year. When a

First let me say that we have been renting this house for the past couple of years. This year we arrived just after the hurricane. We were pleased that the house and pool were just far enough that they didn't receive any damage.

The house was nice. I think they need to spend some time cleaning the base boards and carpet. Two beds did not have bed spreads on them. Other than that we were happy.

We stayed at My Two Buoys and were very happy with the rental. The property is huge with 5 bedrooms. The location of the property was perfect, only a block and a half to the beach. The property is about 1/2 mile from the Garden City Beach Pier. The pool was small but it met our needs. This particular unit got sun on the deck and pool until 5 pm, whereas the property next to it didn't get as much sun. A pool service came every other day. The back deck was perfect with an oversize picnic table. We ate dinner every night on the back deck. The hardwood floor/laminate in 1st floor bedroom and family room area seemed to be new. We rented bikes from Woody's bike rental. Most people had golf carts which can also be rented from Woody's. My only minor comment was cleaning the area where the sliding glass doors slide.
We had a problem with one of the AC units not working (separate units for main level and upstairs) and someone was out to fix it within a couple of hours. It was very prompt service.
It is very close to the beach access. It's further from the pier than I normally stay, but that's just personal preference.
Overall, we had a great experience in this house and would definitely consider staying there again.
Only faults: Upstairs master bedroom does not have a closet. Main floor master bedroom does not have a dresser.

We have stayed in many of the rental homes in the area, and so far this is one of our favorites. The interior is beautiful. The pool is quite small (three "floaty mattresses" just about fills up the pool, but it worked for what we needed.

The house was clean but the carpet was badly stained and needs to be replaced. The area is very nice and we enjoyed having enough room for our entire family and having our own pool.

We stayed here for a week in July 18 and also previously. We love this house. Rooms are big and comfortable. An overall really nice place to stay!

The house was clean when we arrived. There were a few things (wasps nest on one front deck, loose chair leg, clogged drain) that we contacted the management company about, but nothing that ruined our stay. You'll find what's to be expected when hundreds of people are renting during the summer season. It's a short walk to the beach, which was so convenient. Also, rent a golf cart when you stay here; it helped with lugging all our stuff to the beach. The pool was perfect for the kids. It's about a 15 minute leisurely walk to the pier, where you can fish or shop. Overall, we would stay here again.

Overall a great vacation house. There were a couple of things that need attention. The remote for the tv in the main room needs to be replaced.A couple of lights on the carport needs replaced. The floors looked clean but after walking in socks it was plain to see the floors needed to be cleaned. also the carpet needs to be replaced and a couple of the mattresses had big stains and need replacing

Rental was clean and very nice definitely could use better landscaping around the property had some minor issues with the pool but all in all a nice place would definitely stay again

House was great, clean, close to beach. Oversized bathtub called a pool. Kitchen utensils barely adequate for 8, let alone the advertised 17.
The grand kids really enjoyed and are already asking about next year. Can’t think of a better place to spend a Myrtle Beach vacation.
Wish the management company stayed in closer connection with the cleaning co. at check in. We stuck around for most of the day waiting. Not the cleaner’s fault the house was spotless. We did discover a few problems, at the house, but the management co. took immediate action and problems resolved.

This was absolutely the best family vacation you could ask for. Can't say enough about My Two Buoys. We found the bedrooms to be spacious and the living and dining area more than sufficient. The house had everything needed. From being about 500 feet to the beach to having our own pool the house was perfect. The only exception being the grill. It was too small and located in the dirt.
- Jill S. from Roebuck, Posted: 06/13/2016
My family and I had a great time on vacation. The rental had everything we needed and it was very nice. It was great to relax by the pool each day and not have to fight anyone for a chair. My nephew enjoyed the golf cart, which was nice to drive to the beach. Looking forward to our next trip.

Overall we had a good experience during our stay at My Two Buoys. It had plenty of room and was clean. The golf cart was nice for quick trips to near by stores and to haul stuff to beach. Easy walk to beach, closer than I thought. Would stay again!

We had a great family trip here. Best house so far that we've stayed at in Garden City. The house was very nice and clean. The golf cart came in so handy to go the beach, especially with lugging all of our stuff down. It was a little hard to cook, they don't have everything that you need, like rubber storage bowls and etc. But we made do and bought stuff from the Dollar Store. Overall great stay, no issues.

The house is beautiful with a view of the ocean. We had a few minor maintenance request that were quickly taken care of. The staff at Garden City Realty were very helpful and professional.

I would highly recommend this place! This was our 7th year vacationing at Garden City. The space inside is incredible, large and great for large families. The beds were so comfortable and every room had large T v's . The only problem we had was the pool had been shocked and our clothes were bleached but after one phone call it was taken care of within an hour. The golf cart which come with the house was also a plus! Highly recommend My Two Bouys!

Very clean. One of the wheels was almost the golf cart, but was fixed the next day. Great location, just a cart ride to beach, market, and restaurants.
All of the kids were able to enjoy the space without being cramped up. with the adults! We will be back and look forward to making more memories @ MEMORIES!

The house was a perfect size for us and just a skip to the ocean.

I had been renting with Garden Realty whenever I go to South Carolina. This is probably the fourth time for the last 8 years. And as in the past, Garden Realty had been helpful and reliable. The property was in good part of the area and just as was described on line. If any of my family and friends needs a rental property anywhere that Garden Realty has a property for rental,I will recommend them based on my past experience.

The property was very clean and location was great.
- Anonymous from Paulding, Posted: 07/24/2013
The location was great! We had two families vacationing and this house was very roomy. The carpet was dirty and could use a good cleaning. One suggestion to the rental company would be to have toiletries availabe upon arrival. This would be no different than going to a hotel without anything available in the restroom. Immediately upon arrival we had to make a trip to the store to purchase toiletries for our children.

The rental house was in a wonderful location, close to the beach and other amenities without being too commercialized. House was large, with an open floor plan: perfect for the amount of people we had staying with us (7 adults, 4 kids) and we had room for more! I recommend this property as well as Garden City Realty!

Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. There are new owners for this house now and they have plans for many upgrades as soon as the rental season is over. A telephone and Wi-Fi have already been added. New floors, new furniture, new window treatments will be done this Fall. A new pool company has already taken over the care of the pool. We certainly hope that you will come back to Garden City Beach and to "Memories" again in the future. jw 7/8/2013

The house was large enough where 9 of us and 4 children could stay and not sit on top of each other. It is super close to the beach so my two year old could walk and loved that she could see if from the balcony. The pool was slightly dirty. There was more wear n tare throughout the house than I would let be, and more than other rentals we have stayed in. The couch is very stained and needs to be cleaned! We had the most amazing time though! Close enough to the pier we could walk every day. The office people are super nice. I would stay in this house again but I think for as much as they are charging they could do some work throughout the house.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the review. This house is now owned by a different family. As soon as they have a break in the rentals they plan to put all new flooring, all new furniture and all new window treatments in this house. Also as of this week WI-FI has been added. jw 7/8/2013

The location of Memories was ideal. On a little side street with a quick walk across the street to the beach. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of rooms and beds and bathrooms. Plenty of closets and storage spaces. It had nice appliances and good washer and dryer. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and glass wear. The decor in the house was minimal. The back deck wood really needs to be updated. The railing on the back stairs really was loose. The door out to the back deck was also very hard to open and close. All the blinds on the balcony doors need updating. (Missing pieces of blinds.) And the entrance way to the house was very dirty. The overall condition of the house was clean but it did have the general marks on walls etc you would expect from a rental. The upstairs floors were very creaky/squeaky. If you have kids that are awaken easily. The home phones did not work. The pool area was nice although the pool guy only came once and the grass people came the same day. So the pool stayed dirty the entire trip. Plenty of pool furniture. House needs to be updated for INTERNET access. We had a great week and enjoyed our stay. And as always Realty company was great! Used Surfside Golf Cart Rental for a golf cart. It was great addition to week!
Finally, the pool was never in proper working order during our stay even though maintenance came by several times. It was too cold for me to swim, but our children probably would have braved it if it was working. A small refund for that issue would have been nice.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Garden City. Just a few negatives. First, the house had not been used in a while. We had no ice when we arrived and the water in the door to the refrigerator did not work. Maintenance came and fixed it pretty quickly. However, because the house had not been used in a while, when we took our first shower there was an awful sulfur smell. It would have been nice if maintenance had been done a few days before to allow the water to run. Also, the house generally smelled musty and shut up. This is probably not a problem during the regular season.

We truely enjoyed our visit to Garden City Beach. The amenities were great and the location ideal for the families gathered there...quiet side street with short walk to the beach. Enjoyed the pool area when children were napping! Well stocked kitchen supplies and appliances. We would love to stay here again.

Memories was the perfect location for our family vacation. There was enough room for everyone to feel comfortable & relaxed. Just a short walk to the beach and close to the pier and other activities as well. Felt like a home away from home.

First time we have ever went through a rental property other than a hotel. Our experience was wonderful. Loved the place, the location, lots of room inside and outside for parking. We will stay here again for sure.

House was very nice, close to the beach, and in a great location. Iiwould stay here again but the property had minor things wrong. 5th bed room is not so much a bed room due to its the only exit to the back deck and pool with out walking through the car area. Pull out beds all sucked! They felt like they were all springs. Pool was nice but had 2 call because it was always dirt, I dont think the pump/filter works correctly. A/C would make the upstairs of the house freezing and the first floor stayed in the high 70s to 80s.
