One Ocean Place 1110 is a three-bedroom, three-bath oceanfront condo located 1.4 miles north of Garden City Pier. This unit includes a private oceanfront balcony, fully-equipped kitchen, spacious living room, color televisions, telephone and central heat and air conditioning. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave. Other amenities include four color televisions, DVD player and a washer and dryer. Sleeping accommodations includes one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, two twins and a queen sleeper sofa. Complex amenities include two oceanfront swimming pools, sundeck, hot tub, covered parking with clearance ranging from 6'-7.3', interior elevator system and outdoor shower. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.
If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

One Ocean Place 1110 is a beautiful property. It is an end unit with wonderful views. It has been nicely renovated; however, it could use some updated living room furniture as the cushions and pillows are very worn and the mattresses and pillows are due for replacement (which we have found to be typical in almost any unit we have rented). The patio furniture on the balcony differs from from the pictures shown. It has been upgraded to some very nice Trex/composite material furniture. Overall, we were very happy with the unit itself and the location can't be beat.
There were some things about the One Ocean Place property in general that I wish I had known, and I feel might be helpful to know for people choosing to stay at any units on this property. There is plenty of parking, but if you have a very large vehicle, consider another property. Although a minor issue, accessing the elevators from the 1st and 2nd floor parking areas with any carts or luggage is a challenge due to very tight spaces to maneuver through. Finally, the beach access for this property is not ideal. The access is through the parking garage and you either have to go down to the the ground level and walk up a parking garage ramp or get off on the 1st floor and walk down a parking garage ramp. If you have anyone with mobility issues (like an elderly parent) or even dealing with getting kids to the beach, traveling up or down parking ramps with possible car traffic is not ideal. There is also no handicap accessible route to the beach from the property. The beach access issue for us will prevent any future stays at any One Ocean Place units, but that's not any reflection on this particular unit.

Very good...great location, great views....could have been warmer, but can't control that. Television performance and Wi-Fi badly needs upgrading....haven't seen a router that old in a long time.....other than that, everything was great.

We have rented this unit before. It has a nice beach decor. They have added a very nice table for outdoor dining, and a lounge chair too. The Conch Cafe is right next door. It's a fun place to eat and drink. Garden City is the perfect place for our family.
