This unit features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and microwave, living room with adjacent and furnished screened-in ocean-view balcony, washer, dryer, and central heat and air conditioning. Three flat-screen TVs (cable), two DVD players, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Tiled flooring throughout. Sleeping accommodations include two queen-sized beds and one queen sofa bed. Common area features a swimming pool and elevator. No trailers or golf carts. No pets. No smoking. Check-out maid service included. Linens not included. Complete linen and bath package is available for $75, sheets and pillowcases only available for $36. Maximum occupancy: 6

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

The vacation rental was for a week-long golf vacation. The two bedroom, two bath unit was a perfect size for two male golfers. There was tv in the common living area, but also a tv in each bedroom that allowed private and individual viewing. The kitchen and dining areas, with their amenities were more than adequate. The location also gave us easy access to eateries and golf courses throughout the Strand.

Very nice place. It was a well stocked, clean and bright unit. While not oceanfront, it did offer a good view of the ocean. It was enough space for our family of 3. Very much enjoyed our week at the beach

Our stay at the Sea Oaks 108 was very enjoyable. Our group included 4 adults and a toddler and there was plenty of room. The place isn't super fancy, but we weren't looking for super fancy. It looks exactly as shown in the pictures. It's a very decent place and has all the amenities we wanted at what I feel was a very reasonable price, especially for beach front. We enjoyed the screened porch - particularly with a small child. We never heard any noise from the neighboring units or the outside halls, which was nice. The pool was great and I really liked that it was just a short walk to get out onto the beach. My only "complaint" would be that the property doesn't allow golf carts. A golf cart would make it much easier to get around. The street that the Sea Oaks is located on isn't very pedestrian friendly, especially with a little one in tow. It was extremely difficult to maneuver a stroller and some areas had no sidewalk at all. We rented linens which made things simple. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We ate at Creek Ratz which was so-so. We also ate a Crabby Mike's which was a long wait (there was a DJ playing music outside while you waited and they had hula hoops for the kids which was fun) but the buffet has a lot of food to choose from. We visited Broadway on the Beach - there's a lot going on there - and the Ripley's aquarium - that was nice. Overall, we had a very nice stay and will definitely consider staying there again.
