2019 Notice: This condo has been recently updated with new bed frames, mattresses, and bedding (king in master, twin-over-double bunk bed set in second bedroom, queen-sized sleeper sofa in living room). Other new furniture includes living room sofa, seating, as well as dining table. Likewise, new curtains (room darkening curtains on bedroom windows), glass sliding door, bathroom shower heads, faster speed Wi-Fi, keyless door entry, and fresh paint in the living room and bedrooms has been applied.

The Channel Marker complex has recently completed major external updates that include new carpeting in walkways, new roof, new pool furniture, new grill, and new concrete picnic table base. Other improvements include freshly painted stairs, white trim on stairs, and underneath of building, removal of lattice around parking area entrance (to accommodate larger vehicles), and replacement of rusted metal bolts. Channel Marker does not permit trailers. Please ask Guest Services where trailer parking is available.

Channel Marker 306 is a two-bedroom, two-bath oceanfront condo located 0.9 miles south of the Surfside Pier. This condo features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, carpet, ceramic tile, hardwood flooring, and ceiling fans. Three TVs and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king-sized bed and one twin-over-double bunk bed set, plus a queen-sized sofa bed. Complex amenities include an oceanfront swimming pool with furnished pool deck and grills. Limit two parking passes per unit. One parking space is assigned, the second is available on a first come, first served basis and is not guaranteed. Trailers and motorcycles allowed with passes on a first come, first served basis. No elevator. No smoking. No pets. Check-out maid service included. Linens not included. Complete linen and bath package available for $100, sheets and pillowcases only available for $48. Maximum occupancy: 6

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.

Whatever your desire, whatever your need, the south strand offers a little something on everyone's to-do list. We have a variety of restaurants, retail stores, miniature golf, entertainment venues, charter fishing, water sports... and of course, nothing but relaxation.

Great beach-front condo with heated pool and assigned parking. The unit was clean and well-stocked with everything from a portable playpen to board games. Also, the condo unit has a "Borrower's Corner" with beach chairs, sand shovels, and boogie-boards.

We visit Garden City beach yearly. We stayed in a new condo this year. We loved it there. This was our first time renting through garden city realty. The only thing was check in was at 4:30 and we couldn't even get the keys until 6pm. We drove from Ohio and got to the area to have time to grocery shop before check in. We arrived at 4:15 and Garden City Realty said it wasn't ready. So we sat in the car with no where to go for almost 2 hours with 4 kids, groceries and luggage. The bathroom was dusty above the mirror and all the fans in the condo were caked with dust. So we weren't happy about that with the cleaning service, it takes that long to clean and inspect it and its not all the way cleaned.
