This unit features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and microwave, living room with adjacent and furnished screened-in ocean-view balcony, washer, dryer, and central heat and air conditioning. Three flat-screen TVs (cable), DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Luxury Vinyl Tile and Tiled flooring throughout. Sleeping accommodations include one king and one queen-sized bed, plus one queen sofa bed. Common area features a swimming pool and elevator. No trailers or golf carts. No smoking. No pets. Check-out maid service included. Linens not included. Complete linen and bath package is available for $75, sheets and pillowcases only available for $36. Maximum occupancy: 6

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

Our overall experience was increible! We traveled from Milwaukee, WI via minivan with our family of 6 and after the 16 hour drive we were very impressed with the rental unit. There was more than enough space for all of us, very well decorated, and in the perfect location for all of the coastal attractions. The provided amenities allowed us to travel lighter, all we needed were cloths and our hygiene items. The cleanliness of the property was in very good condition and the furnishings are all well maintained. You cant ask for a better loacted unit, the property is on the beach which by the way you'll be able to see from the screened in porch in the unit, and you'll be able to enjoy the swimming pool on the property as well. Your walking distance from live entertainment and dining. Our kids really enjoyed the pier which has a full bar for adults and video games and other activities for children as well, and if you get hungry while your up there they have a grill and ice cream for some lunch/dinner/desert... I'd definetly recommend this unit to all that are looking to have a relaxing beach side experince and promise that you wont be disappointed!

check in/out and dealing with Garden city realty for questions was very easily done. The property had a few minor issues that were easy to just deal with without involving realty company. these issues were where the tile floor and the other flooring meet. The metal piece was not covering the tile well and the nails were not flush. So I just used the bathroom rug to cover them. The location of this unit was perfect. you could see the ocean and hear the waves but once the doors were closed it was very quiet. I will be coming back here for many more family vacations!!!
