College football bowl season will return to the Grand Strand with the third edition of the Myrtle Beach Bowl on Monday, Dec. 19, at 2:30 p.m. ET, on ESPN. Brooks Stadium, located on the campus of Coastal Carolina University, will once again host the third annual contest.

The first game of its kind in the state of South Carolina, the inaugural Myrtle Beach Bowl kicked off in December 2020 at Brooks Stadium on Coastal Carolina University’s campus. This postseason competition featured matchups from three conference partners – Conference USA, Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Sun Belt Conference.

“We could not be more excited with this date for the 2022 Myrtle Beach Bowl now in its third year,” said Karen Riordan, President & CEO, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Myrtle Beach. “We look forward to welcoming the teams and their fans to the Grand Strand for what is sure to be a memorable week of activities and another exciting game.”
