2017 Update: VIP recently replaced all mattresses throughout the home. Updates also include new paint and bedspreads.

VIP House is a four-bedroom with a loft, four-bath second row house located 0.1 miles north of Garden City Pier. This 3,000-square-foot open floor plan home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, plus a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Other amenities include six flat screen TVs (cable), DVD player, and telephone. Sleeping accommodations include two king, two queen, and two twin-sized beds, plus two queen-sized sofa beds. Three bedrooms are upstairs, one is a loft, and two bedrooms are downstairs. Two bathrooms are located upstairs and two are downstairs. Outdoor features include an ocean-side sundeck and partially covered and furnished front porch, enclosed shower, charcoal grill, and ample parking (some covered). No pets. No smoking. Check-out maid service included. Linens included. Maximum occupancy: 14

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Lowcountry Zoo.

If you're looking for places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment, take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. And don't forget about Ripley's Aquarium, Alligator Adventure, Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.

Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.

Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach and Murrells Inlet are all close to Waccamaw Hospital and several urgent care facilities.

Whatever your desire, whatever your need, the south strand offers a little something on everyone's to-do list. We have a variety of restaurants, retail stores, miniature golf, entertainment venues, charter fishing, water sports... and of course, nothing but relaxation.

The VIP house bedroom layout was very nice and spacious. The living/dining area was a bit cramped with furniture. The kitchen was well equipped and roomy. The loft is a nice area for additional sleeping with a nice TV, but I still wouldn't classify it as a 5th bedroom. We didn't need it for that, so it did become a great additional space for relaxation. Parking is good and the outdoor shower/storage area was very helpful. The location is very convenient to the beach, pier, arcade, and other stores, but there is a tradeoff for that location with increased noise and traffic. Having a fireworks store nearby contributed greatly to nightly fireworks disruptions.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the VIP House. The floor plan is wonderful for 2 families, because there are 2 master bedrooms and the balcony can serve as another living space upstairs. The house is located so near to the pier that it gives young teens the freedom to walk to the arcade and eating places. The furnishings were very nice. My only suggestion would be to fix the dryer. It took several cycles to dry clothes. However, it was still one of the best vacations we have ever had. Thanks GC Realty and VIP House!

The VIP house is perfect for a beach getaway. The living area has ample room for guests and very comfy furniture. Loved the open concept with kitchen and eating too. The house was clean and comfortable for our family of 9. Location couldn't have been better either, steps from the beach, and a quick ride to restaurants, bars and shopping.
