Excellent house for a big family reunion. Having 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms is great for a lot of people, since there can be quiet on one level and noisier activity on the other. And we definitely needed 2 refrigerators. The house is so close to the beach that you can go back and forth many times a day, and it's one of the least crowded sections of beach that we saw. We had family ranging in age from 1year to 88 years, and we all loved it.-Cathy R

As the winner of the Garden City Realty 2012 Spring Giveaway, I would love to tell you what a wonderful time my family and friends had at Mariposa.

Upon our arrival at the Garden City Office to pick up our keys, we were greeted by the on duty Garden City Realty staff. Everyone jumped out of their chairs and ran to greet us. Of course, with cameras in hand!

What a wonderful greeting…thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Off we went to get settled into Mariposa. My daughter and grand daughter were waiting for us in the driveway. They kept saying “ where are you? This place is gorgeous… hurry up with the key!” Well, that was just the beginning. Mariposa is gorgeous, and large enough to sleep a huge family. We got settled in and immediately went for a walk on the beach. Walking on the beach is our favorite pastime.

Being frequent visitors to the Garden City area, we already had our favorite spots to eat, shop, and play. So, we did just that…eat, shop and play. The only disappointing thing that happened to us was that Dead Dog Saloon was not available, and we were going to have to find a temporary replacement. We tried, but just couldn’t do it. So, we must hurry back down for our Dead Dog fix!

We enjoyed good meals, good times on the screened porch, walks on the beach and relaxing hours in the pool. Time in the hot tub, and all the other activities made for great naps, and peaceful sleep.

The guys tried some fishing off the Garden City Pier, and really had a good day. The ladies enjoyed shopping at the malls, and the younger crowd enjoyed putt putt golf. We were reminded that there is just no end to the entertainment opportunities at Myrtle Beach.

What more could one ask for….We Had The Time of Our Lives! Thanks again Garden City Realty for making our trip to Myrtle Beach, a lasting memory! -Linda Shepherd
