* Moved to the beach in 1973 after being a REALTOR in Florence, SC from 1972 – 1973
* Became President and Broker-in-Charge of Garden City Realty, Inc. in 1973

* Graduated from Georgia Tech with a BSIM in 1969
* Obtained the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 1984
* Certified Real Estate Broker (CRB) member in 1984
* Completed the requirements for the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) in 1985
* Completed Leadership Grand Strand VIII in 1988

Married to Ann Forshee from Honea Path SC in 1988. Son, Graham attends the College of Charleston and daughter, Louisa attends St. James High School.
